Florida is a state with a rich automotive culture, and it’s no surprise that it plays host to some of the biggest and best car shows in the country. From classic muscle cars to modern supercars, Florida’s car shows offer something for everyone. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the top Florida car shows, highlighting their unique features and attractions.

Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance

The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is a prestigious event that attracts some of the rarest and most valuable automobiles in the world. Held annually in March, the show takes place on the grounds of the Ritz-Carlton hotel on Amelia Island, just off the coast of northeast Florida.

What sets this event apart from other car shows is its focus on elegance and rarity. The cars on display range from pre-war classics to modern-day supercars, but all share a level of refinement and craftsmanship that is unmatched.

In addition to the main car show, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance also features a number of ancillary events, including a vintage race car showcase, a Cars and Coffee gathering, and a seminar series featuring some of the most knowledgeable experts in the automotive industry.

Sebring International Raceway Classic 12 Hour

For those who prefer their cars with a bit more speed, the Sebring International Raceway Classic 12 Hour is a must-see event. Held annually in December, the Classic 12 Hour is a vintage sports car race that takes place on the legendary Sebring race track.

In addition to the racing action, the Classic 12 Hour also features a car show with a variety of vintage and classic cars on display. Visitors can see everything from pre-war roadsters to 1960s muscle cars, all in a picturesque setting surrounded by the Florida countryside.

Daytona Turkey Run

The Daytona Turkey Run is one of the largest car shows in the country, attracting over 5,000 vehicles each year. Held annually over Thanksgiving weekend, the Turkey Run takes place at the Daytona International Speedway and features a wide range of cars, trucks, and motorcycles on display.

A Florida Accountant told me what sets the Daytona Turkey Run apart from other car shows is its sheer size and diversity. Visitors can see everything from classic muscle cars to hot rods, lowriders, and exotics, all in one place. In addition to the car show, the Turkey Run also features a swap meet, a car corral, and a number of vendors selling automotive-related merchandise.

Winter Park Concours d’Elegance

The Winter Park Concours d’Elegance is a newer event, having been held for the first time in 2020. However, in just two short years, it has already established itself as one of the premier car shows in Florida.

Held annually in November, the Winter Park Concours d’Elegance features a wide range of classic and exotic cars on display. However, what sets this event apart from others is its focus on local history and culture. Many of the cars on display have a connection to Florida or the surrounding region, giving visitors a unique perspective on the state’s automotive heritage.

In addition to the car show, the Winter Park Concours d’Elegance also features a number of food and beverage vendors, as well as live entertainment throughout the day.

Cavallino Classic

For fans of Italian supercars, the Cavallino Classic is the must-attend event of the year. Held annually in January, the Cavallino Classic takes place at The Breakers resort in Palm Beach and features some of the most exclusive and rare Ferraris in the world.
